ATLANTA, GA — The Democratic National Convention kicks off Monday, but due to the pandemic things will have to go all virtual. The Democratic party will broadcast two hours of prime-time programming Monday through Thursday, according to its website. Tune in live tonight from 9-11 p.m. ET for the first night of the Democratic National Convention Former gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams will join State Rep. Sam Park for a joint keynote Tuesday night. Former United States Attorney General and Atlanta-native Sally Yates will also speak Tuesday. Top speakers for day one include former first lady Michelle Obama, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and a Republican — former Ohio Gov. John Kasich. Joe Biden will not be in the host city of Wisconsin, but will instead give his acceptance speech from Delaware, reported WSB.
