Hotel in the JFK airport area of Jamaica Queens is looking for hotel housekeeping staff. We are in need of several room cleaners, as well as public space cleaners. These positions are full time permanent positions and are to start as soon as possible. There are morning shifts available. Duties for the room cleaner include: - taking trash out of the rooms - taking dirty linens out of the rooms - cleaning bathroom - making bed - vacuuming carpet - dusting and disinfecting Duties for public space cleaner include: - moping and vacuuming hallways, lobby and other public spaces - cleaning public restrooms - keeping front of house including entrance of hotel clean - taking supplies and linens to room cleaners - taking supplies and linens to guests Requirements for these positions: - must be able to work on the weekends. - must have previous cleaning experience - must have an outgoing personality and customer service oriented - must be able to work 8 hour shifts MUST BE LOCAL TO THE AREA OR BE WILLING TO DRIVE.
