Description

Help the Cohen's pay the bills after a devastating diagnosis... Back in 2017, Amanda was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. A lumpectomy was suggested, however she proceeded to have a double mastectomy and was cleared "cancer free" after her surgery. One year later she had swelling, and tests showed that the cancer had come back, this time Stage 3. She went through chemotherapy, radiation and infusions of herceptin post chemotherapy. She medically did everything they threw at her for over a year, and she was cleared once again. Just a few weeks ago, she started having double vision, and testing revealed an aggressive brain tumor that is inoperable. Amanda's prognosis is 4-12 months. Yesterday (1/10) she started full brain radiation for 10 days to help slow the growth of the tumor. With this complete whirl-wind and very unexpected news, David is planning to spend all his time with her and Jacob, and has taken Family leave. FMLA is a wonderful option, but cannot pay the bills. This evening of comedy at the Orion Performing Arts Center in Topshap with a few of Amanda's friends performing, will benefit the Cohen family - 100% of the proceeds will go to them. Thank you for supporting Amanda, David and Jacob.
