Description

Join a licensed therapist as we talk about the unique challenges facing childcare providers. Childcare providers are serving some of our most vulnerable populations. So much has been asked of you over the last two years and we want to provide more support for all of you. This is an opportunity to gain education and practical support in a group format with a therapist from Mental Health Partners. We’ll discuss ways to find balance in your home and work life responsibilities, coping skills for your stress and anxieties, strategies for recognizing and helping children through their own increased stress, and provide an opportunity for you to connect with fellow childcare providers to talk about the unique challenges you face. Our group will be very flexible in content and we welcome any feedback on what you need the most and how we can best support you during these unprecedented times. The group will be run by MHP therapist, Jane Seymour, LCSW. Jane has over 15 years experience providing therapy to children, families and adults; focusing on childhood trauma and family and parenting challenges. In addition, Jane is a parent herself and has experience with blended families and parenting high needs children. **Note: We are hoping to hold the group meetings in person, but will move to remote as needed. Email Brooke Brogle or Jane Seymour with questions: [email protected] [email protected] Creating an environment where all children are valued, healthy, and thriving.
