This gentle flow class combines Hatha and Vinyasa yoga to help students find alignment in their bodies while increasing strength and flexibility, while calming the nervous system. Each unique session will include a short meditation/centering, stretching/warm-up, a calming sequence linking basic yoga postures to align the mind, body, and spirit by connecting the breath to each movement, and a cool-down ending with savasana to seal the practice. It is perfect for beginners but works equally well for anyone looking for a gentle alternative to stronger, more powerful classes. Michelle is passionate about helping others become successful in their unique journey and is always happy to offer modifications to make the practice accessible to EveryBODY. COST $12.00 per class ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR Michelle is a RYT200 Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor and lifetime fitness lover. The yogic lifestyle has served her in so many positive ways in her mental, physical, and spiritual health. After almost 30 years in the construction industry, many sports related injuries, and much emotional trauma, yoga has been her guiding light. After practicing for many years, she gained her teaching certification and opened Vasu Yoga so she could share her story with others and inspire them to enhance their lives with the power of yoga. Michelle was also a NASM certified personal trainer from 2016 – 2020 allowing her to offer many fitness tips for strengthening and enhancing each of her client’s unique practices. She has practiced in many locations around the globe, training with top quality instructors in Southeast Asia, Europe, Mexico, and Central America. She is passionate about working with anyone who is curious about beginning their own journey, as well as those who want to enhance their current practice. She is available for both private and group lessons. We do turn folks away at the door that did not pre-register to reserve their spot. If you want a guaranteed spot, you MUST register in advance - even for free events. Regardless of when or where you marked yourself as going, attendees with confirmed registration information will be given seat priority. PARKING & BUILDING ACCESS FREE PARKING at the Little Creek Office Building & across the street by Olde Steel Antique Guns. Enter the building on the second floor. Go up the outside stairs (right or left side of the building) on the front of the Little Creek office building. Enter the external double doors for suite 275 at the south side of the building on the second floor. COVID-19 GUIDELINES The Tri-County Health Department issued a mask mandate for all people ages 2 and up to wear a mask indoors in both Adams and Arapahoe counties, regardless of vaccination status. The mandate goes into effect on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021 and will last until at least Jan. 2, 2022. If you forget your mask at home, we'll have some on hand for you. Welcome to YOUR community!
