Join us for the Academy Award winning documentary, My Octopus Teacher, followed by a community discussion on "The Human-Animal Bond" After this truly amazing film, Dr. Rae Stone of The Plains, will lead a community disucssion on "The Human-Animal Bond". Dr. Stone is a veterinarian specializing in marine mammal medecine, and founder of Dolphin Quest, conservation and research facilities offering experiential education. Born from the success of the annual Doc5 Middleburg Film Festival (third one to be held May 17-21), the Piedmont Film Club will meet once a month, generally on the third Thursday of each month, to show a movie selected to have an impact.
