MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Road work will force the closure of Brookwood Road from South Brookwood Road to Westbury Road Friday. The stretch of Brookwood will be closed to traffic beginning at 8 a.m. and is expected to remain closed until the afternoon. Motorists are asked to take an alternate route through that area.
