Description
Do you love small animals? Does your kid want a hamster, rat, or mouse but you aren't sure if you're ready to commit?
I've owned rats and mice my whole life, and I'm at the end of this particular hobby due to my health. I'm having surgery soon and won't be able to stay on top of care for my current pair of mice. They live in separate habitats and can go to different homes, either temporary until I'm recovered or permanently if you/your kiddo adore them!
*They will come with their whole habitat setup, as well as a supply of bedding, food, and chews!*
One of them is in a smaller sized habitat. This is the friendlier mouse. Despite my efforts to socialize these guys they have remained very shy. The friendly mouse is dove grey and loves teeny tiny hiding places. Would be great if you want to see if your kid is ready for the responsibility of a small pet.
The other mouse is black, adorably chunky, and extremely antisocial. He will bite and is therefore not appropriate for kiddos unless they are very experienced with cranky hamsters. This guy would happily be your recycling bin and eagerly accepts all sorts of cardboard for his hideaways. He's all about the snacks and enjoys whatever table scraps you care to offer him. He is several ounces of pure evil and cuteness. He is in a larger habitat to accommodate his mischief.
If you're interested in watching them for me as an activity for your kids or would love a small friend to keep permanently, shoot me an email. They will be free to a good home. They are approaching a year old and if you want to keep one/both of them, you will have a whole set up for a hamster or other mice when they are gone.
Note - they are brothers but cannot be housed together anymore because male mice like to ~murder~ each other to protect their territory.
