Fuel Spill On I-290 Near Worcester Closes Exit

WORCESTER, MA — A collision and fuel spill along an I-290 off ramp may block access to the Mass Pike from the Worcester area this afternoon. The exit 10 ramp to the westbound Mass Pike was closed just before 1 p.m. due to the spill, according to MassDOT. Traffic was being detoured around the area via eastbound I-90. The Auburn ramps are a major trouble spot for rollovers and other accidents involving trucks. NOW: On ramp I-290, exit 10 to I-90 WB closed due to fuel spill in #Auburn.
