‘Producing A Kind Generation' LIVE at The Russell Theatre the first time in decades an all black alternative-rock has played a venue. on February 22nd, our band ‘Producing A Kind Generation’ will be performing at The Russell Theater on 17th street. Accompanying us as direct support is the percussive ensemble of The River City Drum Corp.; a youth program that teaches accountability and comradeship via drumming. Both of the aforementioned entities are of African descent in their entireties and are using the event as a means to not only celebrate black history month but to contribute to it. ‘Producing A Kind Generation’ taking the stage at The Russell Theatre will mark the first time in decades that an all black alternative-rock band has played a venue further west than ‘Louisville Gardens’ We think it’s important to be able to play on stages in our own neighborhoods. we’re very excited to have been given this opportunity to play in the community that nurtured our being. love and light to you all💙⚡️
