Description
One pure white female.
One silver male.
Both birds are blind. They’ve been kept in the same rabbit cage but split up so the male can’t harm the female. The female, with good light will lay one egg a day.
A great bird to keep if you have egg eating snakes to care for.
They eat a mix of chicken layer feed and Turkey or game bird feed.
I’m moving to an apartment soon and can’t take them with me.
I don’t recommend hatching eggs from the pair as the male went blind without an injury in his early life. They were born late summer last year. German pastel verity. Originated from Myshier farms eggs we ordered on line.
The pair have a variety between them because the males collect a harem of many females, and he breeds them all often. So he tried to mount the tingle female way too much and he had caused her major injury in the past.
They’re great little pets. I’ve had them indoors since the start of winter.
I’m only asking $20 so they can get a good home. They’re very sweet birds and definitely deserve a home where they are cared for. The eggs are small but taste great. If you’ve been thinking about starting off quail to raise for eggs. These two toils be a great starting point before going all out and getting many quail.
