Couples Night Out! Paint your Valentine! Come and experience the industrial chic vibes of workshop 4200. Each couple will have their own table with ample distance and space from other guests. Paint and sip comfortably while enjoying an evening with your special someone. You and your partner will create a pop art picture on two vertical canvases. Husband and wife, or just BFF's? all couples are welcomed! One ticket includes two canvases for the couple. IMPORTANT: Please email a picture of you and your other half or BFF to [email protected]. YOUR PICTURE WILL BE PRE-SKETCHED ON THE CANVAS. Class will be lead by Patricia Perez at studio #30 Workshop4200 in the main gallery space. No experience is necessary as we will guide you along as you create your masterpiece! Must be 18+ or older to paint. All supplies are provided. Light snacks and beverages provided. BYOB Tickets INCLUDES: Pre-skethced canvas, apron, brushes and paint, easel, light snacks and beverages. NOTE: Facemasks will be required during workshop, throughout main gallery and restrooms. Masks should be worn at all times. Please provide proof of vaccination at entrance. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow everyone to settle in. Class will begin at 6:15pm. Janice Aponte is a fine artist based in the city of Chicago. She is a resident artist at workshop4200. Aponte's art pieces are a mix of expressionism and realism which translates into her own unique style, celebrating femininity and her cultural roots from the island of Puerto Rico. "Painting is my way of releasing energy, recharging and heightening my spirituality". Patricia "Lady P" Perez is a Chicago native visual artist. Her Guatemalan and Puerto Rican ethnic background inspires much of the subject matter in her colorful paintings. In her most recent work, she explores the theme of migration in the U.S. from the perspective of children. "Art is powerful. It serves to bridge communities, document our truth and heal the human spirit."
