Spincycle Yarns is hiring! Spincycle Yarns is hiring for either a part time or full time position on our production team. Our mill runs 7 days a week, 6:30am to 12:30am. Open availability, including nights and weekends is a must. Here at Spincycle Yarns we spin wool into yarn on custom built machinery. The production team assists in all stages of fiber processing. Multi-tasking and constant monitoring of the mill machinery is a must. Experience in manufacturing is a plus, as is a passion for wool and experience crafting with yarn! Job Requirements You must be: Reliable AF Able to lift 50 pounds Able to stand for long period of times Able to climb a ladder Able to work independently and collaborate with other team members Attentive to small details, and must have sufficient manual dexterity to accomplish such tasks Willing to learn Good at multitasking Flexible in tasks and job assignments Proof of Covid 19 vaccination and booster Bonus points given for a sense of humor! Benefits: Our hope is to hire people that want to stick around for a good long while. While the initial training period is two weeks, it takes several months to actually be good at the job. Pay starts at $15/hr for day shift and $16/hr for the evening shift. Employees receive regular reviews and raises. Full time employees have access to health insurance after 3 months. Each employee will accrue vacation pay equivalent to 1 full work week per year. After one year of employment, every employee qualifies for Spincycle’s 4% matching 401k and yearly profit sharing.
