You Don't Want to Miss This Book Release! Ebony Stewart, AKA The Gully Princess, will release her new book of poetry, "Blood Fresh" at the Carver Museum ATX on Friday, February 11, in collaboration with Black Studies at UT. Join us in the Boyd Vance Theater for a night of riveting poetry and conversation. The event will conclude with a reception and book signing. Limited space available. RSVP is strongly encouraged. Through the preservation and exhibition of African American material culture, history, and aesthetic expression, the Carver Museum works to create a space where the global contributions of all Black people are celebrated. We accomplish this by telling stories about our local community and connecting those histories to larger narratives about Blackness.
