Music and Pre School Children! This is a face to face workshop. A lite dinner is included prior to the start of the workshop! Join us for a training on ways to effectively utilize and implement music in your child care settings! We will discuss music’s influence in child development and skill growth along with practical ways for you to promote increased learning and development through musical activities and supports. Early childhood development is integral to development of skills throughout the lifespan and what better way to facilitate that growth than through implementing music in the daycare setting? We will learn how music impacts the brain and effective ways to use music to support things like transitioning between activities and emotion regulation. If you’re tired of hearing the same songs on repeat in your daycare and want to acquire new, creative ways to integrate music into your setting, this hands-on training is for you! Deadline for registration 04.20.2022 Please adhere to all COVID precautions (Mask must be worn at all times). At 5:30pm A light supper will be provided social distancing for the participants when dining ......the training will start at 6pm. limited seating available!!! Please note: Participating in training while in the classroom may be violation of childcare licensing rules. We encourage all participants to arrange to be relieved from child staff ratio to be fully present in the training. Active participation during the live event is required to receive DCDEE credit for this class. No refunds unless class is canceled by CCRC.
