Description
**I'm having trouble responding to emails, please text instead** We have a 3.5 year old female golden retriever that we are rehoming. She's healthy and has been recently spayed and vet checked. She is crate trained, potty trained, house trained, kid friendly, gets along well with other dogs, not aggressive. She knows how to walk on a leash, does fairly well with impulse control, knows basic commands such as sit, lie down, wait, go in your crate/bed, up, down, dance, etc. Sometimes, when she's excited you'd need to repeat the command twice but she's a fairly well behaved dog. She LOVES plush toys, blankets, and beds. She loves just being at home and cuddling and she also loves just strolling outside. She loves car rides. She's food motivated so that comes in handy with continued training. She's been bred twice but bounced back quickly. She is OFA cleared for heart, eyes, all genetics, and DNA tested to be 100% golden. She's very agile and is a fast runner. She is not skittish and is quite confident. She's friendly and social. The only catch is that she likes to bark. We live in the country so the barking comes in handy to us as she's like an alarm system (lol). She would alert us when a delivery man came by, if someone showed up at the door, if a strange dog or animal was outside, etc. She can be told to quiet down and she will listen pretty well. The barking is tolerable and it is never an aggressive bark. It's is more a nervous/curious/excited bark. We've had her since she was 9 weeks old and we love her very much and want the best home for her so we will take our time with who we choose. She is also AKC registered (full) but as I mentioned she is spayed. Her rehoming fee is $500. We are looking for a family or someone who is committed to giving her a home for the rest of her life. We want stability for her and lots of love. We never ever want her to end up in a shelter or rehomed again later in the future for whatever reason so please consider this big commitment before you reach out to us. If you are interested, please send an email and tell us a little bit about yourself, your family, and your lifestyle. Thank you!
