Description

The Black Student Union Presents: FIDM Artisan Market In celebration of Black History Month and Black voices in our community—FIDM Grads and the DTLA network—we invite you to join us on campus in Grand Hope Park for the FIDM Black Student Union (BSU) Artisan Market on Tuesday, February 22. Shop a wide range of Black-owned businesses—from apparel and jewelry to candles and cosmetics—as you enjoy music and food truck dining. Bring your friends and family as we recognize the invaluable contributions generations of Black Americans have made in our communities, economy, and the world. The Black Student Union is a FIDM Student Organization that promotes strength, power, and bold change by providing a space to voice opinions and frustrations, build community, and an understanding of the ever-changing perspective of Black students in an environment free from judgment. Covid protocols/guidelines will be communicated to you prior to the event. Parking is available on campus for $5. First come, first served. With California campuses located in the heart of the fashion and entertainment industries, FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising is a leading, WASC and NASAD-accredited college offering specialized Associate of Arts, Bachelors degrees, as well as an MBA. FIDM has been educating students with creative and leadership skills for the global industries of fashion, visual arts, interior design, and entertainment since 1969.
