Join us at J Rieger & Co on February 16th for a Community Cocktails happy hour benefiting reStart KC! OK KC, let's try this again . . . Please join us for our first in-person networking event since March of 2020! J Rieger & Co. was founded in 1887 by Jacob Rieger and shuttered by Prohibition. After reopening in 2014, today they are proudly distilling in Kansas City's historic Electric Park neighborhood. Their core lineup includes Kansas City Whiskey, Rieger's Gin, Caffè Amaro and Rieger's Vodka. Our charity partner for January is reStart KC. reStart empowers individuals and families to prevent, navigate or end homelessness. As of January 2019, Missouri and Kansas have 8,560 of homeless individuals and families. Through strong community partnerships and effective, diverse programming, reStart works to help those that come through agency. Event Schedule: Check-in and Networking 5:15-7pm Charity Spotlight: 7:00 PM Continued Networking 7:15-8pm Don't feel like networking? If you order any cocktails between 3 and 6 PM, Rieger will generously donate 20% of all beverage sales to SocialHeart. 100% of the proceeds from your ticket sale and the donations from Rieger will go directly to reStart KC to help prevent and end homelessness in our city. What's not to love?! SocialHeart is a 100% volunteer managed 501(c)(3) organization with a goal of creating a better community by supporting other local non-profits through hosting unique fundraising events and providing social media, marketing promotions and volunteer support directly to the non-profit. SocialHeart is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is 100% volunteer managed with the goal of creating a better community by supporting all local charities through fun, unique fundraising events, social media & marketing promotions and volunteer support. Since our creation we have raised over $100,000 with 95% of the money coming in, going back, distributed to 30 different local charities.
