Tenth Annual Gran Gala Dominicana, featuring dancing, a cocktail reception, dinner and awards. The Gala hosts guests from diverse cultures, including corporate and philanthropic leaders; local, national and international guests; celebrities; and community leaders of the Phoenix and bordering tri-state areas. With the annual event held in honor of the Dominican Republic’s Independence Day, and timed at the start of Major League Baseball’s spring training, it is not unheard of for MLB athletes to attend as well. Our attendees arrive on the fabulous red carpet runway at 6:30 PM, enjoy a cocktail reception, and then sit down for an authentic Dominican dinner and an awards ceremony. The Gala presents awards to respected Dominican figures that have made an exceptional difference in the community as well as in their line of work.
