Beach volleyball tournament for doubles players This Inverness tournament is the first EEVB event at this site. The tournament will be held in the beautiful Wallace Brooks Park giving players a relaxing day at the volleyball courts. Most Florida tournaments are held at the beach. This event will have a different atmosphere and is geared towards players in the central/western Florida for a close-to-home tournament. Separate divisions will be held for players of intermediate and novice levels on Saturday and Sunday. The entry fee entitles players to a full day of tournament play, an official Sunshine Series t-shirt, and a chance to win merchandise prizes from tournament sponsors Lucia Pionegro @ EXIT REALTY, Meadowbrook Financial Mortgage Bankers Corp., Orlin & Cohen Sports Medicine, 4C Iced tea – Drink Mix – Energy Stix, Park & Sun Net Systems, AC Sports Commission, Land Shark Bar & Grill, ROX Volleyball, Sand Socks, AVP America, Media Barrel, SportsYou, New Zealand Trails, Wilson Volleyballs. The public can meet the players Saturday evenings at player parties from 7:30 to 9:00 pm (sites to be announced at the tournaments). Based in the East End of Long Island, EEVB has grown into the largest beach volleyball series in the East End of the country with tournaments along the East Coast.
