Tufts, also known as Miss Dee Dee, started in the business at Designer’s Palace Couturier in 1985. She is a one-of-a-kind designer. Most of her designs are made up with no zippers and buttons. The fabric is elegant and the designs are Haute Couture. All of her customers like her long gowns. A lot of the designs are done in slinky fabrics. Most of the designs are glitzy, glamour. Her designed look is at the level of Ebony Fashions. At the age of 15, Tufts’ interest in fashion design and training began with her mother. designer Blanche Moon. She learned all of her training and was self-taught from her mother. Moon was a top designer in the Cleveland area and had a boutique shop. Tufts does a lot of fashion shows in the Ohio area of Cleveland. She wants to take the designs to another level.
