Celebrate Black History supporting local black artist at the Black Art Gallery experience Live R&B music, DJ, food, cocktails and much more! Live R&B music will be performed from 6pm-9pm by Saxophonist Marlon Boone and Nasja Mone. From 9pm-11pm we turning the party up with DJ Esque Dollar playing the most popular 80's, 90's & latest R&B music. So bring your dancing shoes and be ready to vibe all night. The attire is grown and sexy dress to impress. We asked that you wear one or all of the following colors: black, red, and/or gold. Black is representing Black Excellence, Red is representing the blood that our ancestors have shed as they fought for change and Gold is for the riches we deserve. Each ticket purchase includes entry into the art gallery experience, scholarship donation, hors d'oeuvres, a complimentary cocktail, a round on the 360 booth, pictures in the photo booth with props and the opportunity to socially network with other like-minded professionals and entrepreneurs. Local Black Artist will have their work displayed in the halls as if they were exhibits in an Art Gallery. Guest will be able to walk thru the halls viewing and discussing the art work with the artist who created the piece, as they will be present. Guest are encouraged to support the artist by purchasing any of the beautiful art work that catches their eye. Let's end black history month with this Black Excellence Affair celebrating Black Excellence in Tampa Bay. Support local black artist and minority high school students entering college. This event is hosted by Sistah Social and co-hosted by the National Black MBA Assoc. Tampa Bay Chapter. This Black Excellence Affair is a party with the cause of supporting and growing the minority professional and business community. A portion of the proceeds raised from this event will be donated to the National Black MBA Association Tampa Bay Chapter scholarship program. This program provides scholarships to minority high school students that will be entering college in the State of Florida as a freshman. .
