Meet & share with Cecka Rose Green, ED, Children's Services Council. Help provide community input, while learning how such info is gathered! Cecka Rose Green is the inaugural Executive Director of the Children's Services Council of Leon County (CSC Leon). She joins us at Women Wednesdays to share information about this newly established entity, her role, and how our input is vitally important to help guiding the direction and impact of the Council. She'll also share tips and tools for gathering community input, why it’s vital to do so, and how listening to community voices can help us all to build better organizations, businesses or efforts. About the CSC Leon: In November 2020, Leon County voters overwhelmingly approved for the establishment of a Children’s Services Council to serve as a catalyst for positive change to improve the lives and outcomes of children and families in our community. The funding for the CSC Leon comes from a portion of ad valorem (property) taxes. The Children’s Services Council of Leon County (CSC Leon) currently has a community survey that all Leon County residents are encouraged to complete to provide information about their communities and the services that may or may not be available.
