A hands-on event to educate the communities of Westmoreland County on the causes of and solutions to blight in their neighborhoods. Our goal is to demonstrate how we can help to build healthy and whole communities in Westmoreland County, beginning with building a strong foundational awareness of blight prevention and remediation. We are working with many nationally and locally recognized blight experts to create informative and engaging breakout sessions to provide attendees with the tools and knowledge to start implementing blight remediation - right away. We are projecting an audience made up of municipal and county-wide officials and staff, code enforcement officers and professionals, school district administrators, solicitors, and business managers, magistrates, developers, real estate agents, and other relevant county participants.
