The Different Colors of Cancer - " A Day of Harmony" Come learn from Cancer Survivors and Uplift those currently going through treatment Philadelphia Freeway's new imprint Freedom Thinkers Academy presents, The Different Colors of Cancer " A Day of Harmony" Philadelphia Freeway suffered a tragic loss last year, as his daughter Harmony loss her battle with Cancer. On her Birthday February 11th Freeway will host the 1st annual " Day of Harmony" bringing awareness to the different colors of cancer. This event will have speakers that have both survived and are currently battling cancer. Come learn, uplift and share stories that will help our community to be able to spot the warning signs as well as keep up with their routine physicals. Attendees will also learn more about Freedom Thinkers Academy's workforce certification programs implemented to assist our inner city with skills to go directly into the workforce. **There will be a special performance by Freeway at the close of the event** ** All Donations are welcomed and appreciated ** **The Proceeds raised from the first annual event will go to the aid of benefiting breast cancer patient Rasheena Phinisee who is currently undergoing cancer treatment alongside other cancer awareness foundations** Date Friday February 11th, 2022 Time: 5p to 9p Venue: TLO Event Complex Address: 1621-27 Cecil B. Assiah’s Liver Fund educates communities of color about organ, eye and tissue donation. In addition, Rasheena has published a series of children’s books about organ donation and transplantation that has been featured on several networks such as FOX, ABC, KYW, The Breakfast Club and more. On January 17, 2022 Rasheena was diagnosed with breast cancer. To support Rasheena with her ongoing treatments family and friends have come together to financially assist Rasheena with supports such as childcare, meal planning, transportation, fertility preservation, household bills, small businesses expenses and much more.
