Charlie Baker and state health officials rolled out a plan for distributing vaccines, with priority going to front-line workers and people with certain health conditions. And in a startling turn, Worcester City Manager Edward Augustus Jr. announced that he has tested positive for coronavirus and is exhibiting some symptoms. Augustus is one of just a handful of top government leaders in Massachusetts to have contracted the virus.
