Join us for our first History Happy Happy Hour of 2022. Grab your friends for drinks and explore the museum exhibits after-hours.
It’s 5 o’clock and time to add a little history to your happy hour. Our theme is The Women Who Made the Lakes Great, so grab your friends for happy hour drinks and explore the museum exhibits after-hours anytime between 5:30-7:30 p.m. to hear stories of daring rescues, dangerous shipwrecks, and most of all, trailblazing women.
From Native American poet Jane Schoolcraft, to early 19th century Great Lakes captain and Toledoan Grace Waite, to the only female Great Lakes Gold Life Saving Medal Awardee Jean Colby——mix and mingle while celebrating women’s history.
The event is in partnership with EPIC Toledo. Tickets are $30 for NMGL members / EPIC Toledo members or $35 for non-members and includes light snacks and specialty cocktails created by Toledo Spirits (beer, wine and soft drinks will also be available).
The National Museum of the Great Lakes is located on the banks of the Maumee River in Toledo, Ohio. Our goal to to preserve and make known the history of the Great Lakes.
