Security Guard needed at Charter school to work along side several other guards to insure that staff and students are safe and that Covid-19 protocols are followed. You will be an Independent Contractor and as such no taxes will be deducted from your salary. We start at $30/hour and offer paid lunch breaks, as well as a 35-45 hour per week work schedule. (Monday-Friday 7am-5pm) QUALIFICATIONS Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone). Must commit to working weekends and holidays Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to follow directions/specific site post order instructions Must be able to walk and stand post for extended periods of time Must be able to observe, respond and report important information in timely manner Must be able to pass criminal background check Must have clean cut appearance and wear required professional dress uniform BASIC REQUIREMENTS The following are basic requirements for the position: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must have a reliable means of communication. As a condition of employment and/or continued employment, you must be able to pass an extensive background screening, including criminal history, employment, and drug screening.
