This free recording comes with some caveats so please read the entire add. I am working on setting up a viable recording situation in my home, so I can record myself and friends effectively in the near future. I have the equipment needed, the space is pretty viable, but I need some guinea pigs to get it all dialed in. Basically the deal is you come over with a prepared song or songs (like they have a finished lyrics, a beginning, middle, and end, (no works in progress)), and I will record and produce you for free. You will leave with all the tracks, but you need to be flexible time wise and let me produce / dial some stuff in. I will talk with you about your desired direction and try to accommodate what you are looking for. I'm not a pro engineer by any means, but I'm a recorded artist, and I have been in a quite a few studios over the years. I currently play live locally regularly as solo act and in a badass band. I want to learn how to do this right with the equipment that I have got, so I'm willing to donate my time while I'm figuring it out. I'm open to any genre as long as you can do it with you and a guitar. I'm not going to add drum tracks or any of that stuff. However, you will need to play to a click track we create. If this is done you can throw it to a drummer or add your drum tracks electronically in future. If its not then it gets messy. Think of this as a give and take of sorts. You won't be charged a dime, but I'll be using your time and talent to become a better producer. I will not try to claim your songs or arrangements as my own. I don't want to write songs together, I just want to record you doing what you do best, so I can learn how to make my setup work for me, my friends, and family.
