40 gal critter tank with hinged metal screen lid. Tank originally had a sliding lid but that broke so it was replaced with this one, so there is a small gap along the one top edge. Works fine for terrestrial/non climbing animals like a tortoise, bearded dragon, leopard gecko, hamster, gerbils, etc. Specifically says critter tank-do not fill with water on tag
