Description
PITTSBURGH, PA — Two people face attempted homicide charges after a November incident that left an infant hospitalized. Teshawn Ahkir Williams, 24, and Tamaya Harris, 25 also are charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of children.
In November, police began investigating after the infant suffered injuries consistent with shaking. The baby was hospitalized in critical condition.
Special Victims Unit detectives determined the injuries occurred while the infant was in the care of Williams and Harris, who turned themselves into police.
Both are being housed in the Allegheny County Jail.
