Description
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday.
At first, around 5:30 p.m., dispatch took a call about an accident on Silk Farm Road on St. Paul's School. However, as more calls came in, dispatchers learned the crash was actually outside of the entrance of Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
The crash was between a Mazda SUV and a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
Firefighters and EMTs were sent after one of the drivers said her airbag had deployed and she was having difficulty exiting the vehicle, according to scanner chatter. The Jaws of Life were not needed though — firefighters were able to assist her out of the vehicle. She was taken to Concord Hospital with injuries.
Tow trucks were called and the scene was cleared at around 6:30 p.m., according to police.
