WOBURN, MA — Woburn added 142 coronavirus cases over the last two weeks, bringing it over 1,000 confirmed cases, and had a rising positive test rate, according to town-by-town data released by the state.
But the city remained moderate-risk, thanks to the new metrics introduced by the state last week. Communities must report 10 average daily cases per 100,000 residents and five percent positivity to be designated high-risk.
Woburn had 24.4 average daily cases per 100,000 residents, but a test rate of 3.77 percent. That's up from 14.4 and 2.66 percent last week.
