LA GRANGE, IL — Sean Robinson, a 2018 graduate of Lyons Township High School, is not a firefighter. But he owns a fire truck, something he has always wanted.
Robinson spoke about his ownership of the truck with a Wall Street Journal reporter for the newspaper's Car Ride feature. The piece ran last week.
He told the Journal that he bought $300 worth of tickets in a raffle for a fire truck while he was in college in McPherson, Kansas. He won.
Robinson picked up the truck in Pennsylvania.
"In my last months of college, I used this truck as my daily driver. I'd drive it to my classes, or to go get coffee," Robinson told the newspaper.
For more on Robinson, see the story in the Wall Street Journal.
