Press release from the St. Louis County Government: February 2, 2022 ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (February 2, 2022) - St. Louis County offices will be closed Thursday, February 3, due to inclement weather. "We are encouraging everyone to stay off the roads if possible," said County Executive Dr. Sam Page. "Forecasters are predicting one of the biggest storms in years, with cold temperatures and heavy snow accumulation. Road conditions are expected to worsen." Most County Parks will be closed through Thursday due to poor road and parking lot conditions. For more winter weather updates on park closures , follow St. Louis County Parks on Facebook and Twitter. All Department of Public Health services will also be closed Thursday, including vaccination and testing sites. If you have an appointment, you will be notified and asked to reschedule. Department of Transportation crews worked Tuesday night and Wednesday to salt and plow County maintained roadways . Residents can help plow operations by parking in driveways or off the street, especially in residential neighborhoods and cul-de-sacs. The St. Louis County Warming Shelter Services are also open. They are being provided at the Salvation Army Family Haven, 10740 Page Ave., St. Louis MO, 63132. Those in need of the services can call 211 or the Salvation Army directly at 314 423-7770.
