Body Pulled From Lake Guntersville, Sheriff's Office Says

GUNTERSVILLE, AL — A body was found Monday afternoon in Lake Guntersville near the dam, according to reports. The Marshall County Sheriff's Office told WAAY that the body was located near Snow Point Road around 3 p.m. The body was removed from the water by 5 p.m. and taken to the state Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy. The discovery comes almost two months after Charles Kenneth Land, of Guntersville, was found dead in the lake. Land was reported missing before his body was found near a marina in Claysville.
