BAYPORT, MN — Two correctional officers were treated at Lakeview Hospital on Sunday after they were assaulted by a person being held at the Stillwater correctional facility in Bayport, the Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports. The report, which cites a spokesperson for the Minnesota Department of Corrections, states the two officers were released after being treated Sunday. The Minnesota Department of Corrections did not immediately respond Thursday to Patch's request for more information about the reported assault.
