Press release from Portland Public Schools: February 3, 2022 Dear PPS Families, Over the past year, we have had the opportunity to research, evaluate and field test new vendors for math curriculum in Portland Public Schools for grades 6-12. We have narrowed the choices to two venders for middle school grades (6-8) and two for high school (9-12). Curriculum is the materials. textbooks and digital platforms that our students interact with on a daily basis, and that serve to support teacher instruction. Now we need your feedback. As families, stakeholders, students and teachers, your input into what curriculum we select is invaluable. We need to ensure that our curriculum serves all of our students equitably, allowing for robust learning while ensuring that our students interact with the materials positively.
