EDINA, MN — Three Edina schools were named Thursday on the Minnesota Department of Health's weekly list of facilities with coronavirus outbreaks. That's the lowest that number has been in more than two months.
Thursday's list included Creek Valley Elementary, South View Middle School and Edina High School, which have all been on the list for many weeks.
Four Edina schools were named on last week's list, but Highlands Elementary School was removed from the most recent list.
The COVID-19 data dashboard for Edina Public Shows shows there have been 1,589 cases among students since Aug. 30, including 133 from Jan. 22-28.
Sixty-three Hennepin County schools were included on the Minnesota Department of Health's most recent list of facilities with coronavirus outbreaks, 36 less than last week.
The total number of Minnesota schools on the outbreak list dropped from 468 last week to 249 on Thursday.
