Patxi's Pizza in Dublin is collaborating with the local artistic community to bring both the visual and literary arts into our daily experiences. This pilot project with Patxi's demonstrates the significant value local businesses can add to the cultural scene and economic vitality of the community. DAC Watercolor Artists, Deepti Saraswat, Meghana Mitragotri, Rekha Joshi and Alka Vaidya Watercolor artists from the Dublin Arts Collective (DAC) nonprofit were invited to display artwork on this rotation and the works include landscapes, florals, snow scenes and sea scapes. Participating watercolor artists are Rekha Joshi, Meghana Mitragotri, Deepti Saraswat and Alka Vaidya. Staff at Patxi's are delighted with the display and said it really adds a special uplifting touch to the dining experience. James invited the Dublin Arts Collective to provide a pop-up art display on the patio during the event and it was very well received. James recently presented poetry at Dublin's 40th anniversary of incorporation celebration and has several other poetry events planned for this year. "It's wonderful to see how the arts is bringing the community together and how working together creates unique opportunities for us to engage and reflect," said Sawsan Wolski, DAC President. The DAC is in the process of expanding the 'art in the neighborhood' program and has also started creating a footprint at KeyPoint Credit Union in Dublin which currently has an artwork by Jeff Salinas on display. Jeff is an artist an owner of the Dublin Trophy House in Village Parkway who cooperates with the Frame Company to provide display space for art exhibitions.
