Major Water Main Break Causes Plumbing Flushing, Road Closures

WOBURN, MA — There is a major water main break on Winn Street at Harrison Avenue, according to a city alert. There will be service interruptions throughout the day during repairs. Residents may also "experience temporary loss of water, low water pressure and discolored water." Harrison Ave will be closed from Winn Street to North Warren Street, during repairs, police said. Abbott Street access is also blocked. "The roadway is compromised," according to the police announcement. Anyone with questions is encouraged to call the water department at 781-897-5945.
