Residential Construction Trainee (Nixa & Surrounding Area) We are a home builder based out of Nixa Mo. We are seeking individuals that would be interested in an opportunity to learn and gain experience in the home building construction trade. This is an entry level position; we also invite individuals with various levels of experience to apply. We look forward to providing opportunities for motivated individuals that are eager to learn this trade. Some Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must show up on time and be very dependable with your schedule. Must have reliable transportation to work. Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Must be able to work in various temperatures and weather conditions. Some Duties: Many of the initial responsibilities of this position would be jobsite support duties such as basic tasks such as: picking and delivering materials to various jobsites utilizing company work vehicles, utilizing company vehicles to pull dump bed trailers to various jobsites and performing general jobsite cleanup duties inside and outside of the homes that are in various phases of construction. You would sweep out homes, pick up various types of construction debris and load it into the dump bed trailers. You would make trips to the landfill to unload the dump bed trailers. As your gain experience in your position, you would learn to do various basic types of installations and would be participating in various types of building practices with other team members.
