HOOVER, AL — Hair salons, massage therapy facilities and other close-contact businesses are not part of Gov. Kay Ivey's first phase of reopening the Alabama economy, but that did not stop a Hoover barber shop from opening Friday and accepting customers. A WBRC report said the Male Room, located at Inverness Corners shopping center, was issued several citiations from law enforcement over the weekend. Eight employees of the business were given citations and the owner was given one each day of the weekend, according to the WBRC report.
