This opportunity is a contract(1099) position. A background check will be required at your expense($60). We complete residential surveys for various insurance companies in support of the underwriting process. Essentially we are the eyes for the agents and underwriters so they can get a good look at what they are going to possibly insure. The requirements for the job is as follows: reliable transportation and internet access(high speed), digital camera with GPS function or smartphone, ability to manage time well and work efficiently on your own, detail oriented, EXCELLENT communication skills. A working knowledge of building materials is a plus but not required. The amount of work varies based on our customer's needs. This is ideal for a retiree who wants to keep busy or just anyone that has some time and would like to supplement their income. Someone can typically do anywhere from 15-30 per day depending on the area and route. The pay varies from $7 to $13 per survey as these are 99% photo only surveys that require you to spend no more than 5 minutes at each location. We do have a time service agreement with our customers that must be met. The majority of surveys are due within 20 days of receiving them but there are some that require a 5-7 day turnaround. Specifically, the cities needed are Griffin, Milner, Molena, Concord, Luthersville, Jackson and potentially Locust Grove. Perks of the job is that it is very flexible and can be worked on your own schedule as long as time service requirements are met. We can work Monday through Saturday 8am to 8pm, with no surveys being allowed on Sunday.
