Republicans don't like black people to vote. When Bryan Kemp was Georgia's Secretary of State, he used his role to purge hundreds of thousands of eligible voters from the upcoming gubernatorial election. Thanks to his shenanigans, he managed to eke out a narrow victory over Stacy Abrams. Voter ID's are another opportunity to separate black folks from the ballot box. I guarantee you that in places like Georgia, black people with valid ID will be turned away by the thousands. "Mr. Johnson, your ID number is coming up as fraudulent." Black folks will be targeted, just as they were when they were purged from the voter rolls.
