Description

WOBURN, MA — Woburn Public Schools superintendent Matthew Crowley is set to remain with the district until at least June, 2026, the School Committee chair announced at the Committee's Sept. 9 meeting. The Committee unanimously agreed to a new contract with Crowley that will keep him for another six years, Chair Ellen Crowley, no relation, said. The contract does not change the superintendent's pay structure but increases his retirement fund, the chair explained. The full contract is available to the public upon request. Crowley joined the district as assistant superintendent in 2015 and was named to his current role in 2018. The full meeting is available here from Woburn Public Media Center. Christopher Huffaker can be reached at 412-265-8353 or [email protected].
