No Tuition Cut For Woburn Pre-School: School Committee

WOBURN, MA — Woburn's pre-school parents will not see a tuition cut, despite the much-changed pre-school learning, the School Committee said at a recent meeting. The Committee's finance subgroup examined a request from parents and concluded that they couldn't afford to pay teachers and reduce pre-school tuition, they said at the Sept. 23 meeting. But they will look to return any excess money at the end of the year. The Committee voted to have the administration send a letter to parents explaining the decision.
