Now Hiring a Maintenance Coordinator. The Maintenance Coordinator will perform security checks and monitor Physical Plant systems, complete all tasks as requested by the Director of Facilities, communicate with Department Director and Department Lead Worker on all issues, respond to fire alarm and emergency medical alerts, be able to trouble shoot and evaluate problems as they arise, learn all the building systems with instruction from the Department Director.
Responsibilities:
Perform work orders, check lists, preventive maintenance work and security checks
Perform and complete maintenance projects including any and all building repairs as needed
Complete all tasks as requested by the Director of Maintenance
Make key cards
Communicates with Department Director and Department Lead Worker on all issues
Answer fire alarm calls and emergency medical calls
Take trips to get supplies as needed
Be able to trouble shoot and solve problems as they arise
Learn all the building systems with instruction from the Department Director
The ideal candidate:
High school diploma or GED
At least three years work experience in building maintenance that includes HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting.
A general mechanical aptitude and be experienced with the use of hand tools and other general maintenance equipment and possess the ability to effectively utilize basic software.
Boiler license and knowledge a plus. Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
Three years of progressive and relevant experience
