**IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AND IS QUALIFED FOR THIS ROLE, PLEASE SEND YOUR UPDATED RESUME TO [email protected]** Location: Downey Position: Forklift Driver Full-time opportunity - NOT A TEMP ROLE EXCELLENT BENEFITS - 2 weeks vacation, health benefits, and 401K matching Requirements: •Complete a valid forklift operating course/class •Possess a valid forklift operator’s license •Pass a required fitness for duty/medical examination •Submit to background/drug screening, as permitted by law •The ability to work both weekday and weekends as well as daytime and evening hours Forklift Operator Job Duties: •Prepare and sort materials, such as metals, glass, wood, paper or plastics into appropriate containers or areas for recycling •Clean recycling yard by sweeping, raking, picking up loose paper debris and materials and moving recycling equipment and bins •Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, power lifts and front-end loaders to load/unload bales, bundled, loose, palletized, rolled or other heavy items on to trucks •Clean, inspect and lubricate recyclable collection equipment and perform routine maintenance and/or minor repairs on recycling equipment •Clean recyclable materials according to recycling requirements •Process recycling/load related documents and quality control records as required by the customer, the Company and/or local, state and federal governing agencies •Use hand tools; to process materials (utility knives, knives, hand saws, electric saws, table saws, blow torches and other hand or power tools) •Operate plant based rolling stock/powered equipment **IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AND IS QUALIFED FOR THIS ROLE, PLEASE SEND YOUR UPDATED RESUME TO [email protected]**
