8 month old German Shepard Mix. His name is Memphis. He loves being active and having room to roam. Fully potty trained and knows basic commands. He does great on his extendable leash and knows the potty command. He does well with cats, though he likes to chase and play, he never harms. He can be shy around other dogs. We have a young child that he does okay with but would probably be best with children over 5 who have more communication and understanding skills. Don’t let the pictures fool you he is pretty big and is almost as tall as me standing on his back legs. However he is lanky and adorably awkward. We live in a small apartment and he used to go to work with my husband daily which kept him active. The job has now changed regulation on bringing pets to work which means he has to stay home for long periods by himself without interaction or activity. We see he is starting to become more melancholy and somber with this new way of life and we can no longer accommodate the amount of excercise and attention he needs. We ask that he go to a home that has a back yard or someone who will enjoy taking him on trips or going outside to play. He is an amazing dog that deserves to live life to the fullest. He will have food, toys to spare, and his collar to go with him. Small rehoming fee.
